spring flower fringe

I cannot wait for the warm weather or at least the early spring. Instead of whining about it, I took some beads and made them into a garland for your wrist! These beads are made of acrylic, they're transparent and very light that make soft sound to scare away the snow! If you're lucky, you'll find a bug or two on your garland as well.

Penny Candy Bracelet

Almost all everyone who saw this bracelet in person never failed to mention that this one reminded them of the candy they used to buy at a penny store, hence the name. I thought they're candy-looking and so yummy! But they're tiny glass beads in teardrop shapes. These beads are made in Japan by the Miyuki company. The toggles are silver plated.

This specific piece was bought by my df and colleague, Terri, as a gift to her gf. Let's spread the lovin' - start buying handmade! Thank you, Terri, I would like you to know that I appreciate your business.

Bead Crochet Bracelet

I am bidding this pretty bracelet goodbye. It's always nice to know that what I took time creating is also enjoyed by another person. This time, it's Barb who "hearts" my creation. Thank you, Barb for stimulating the economy. *wink

This bracelet is made using 11/0s miyuki glass beads (of black diamond, pink and clear colors) and some clear fringe beads also from miyuki. I strung them using guttermann top stitching/button thread then crocheted with love and care. The result is amazing! I have to admit that this piece is my most popular in 2008. Several custom made orders we made for this specific color combinations.

Please don't take a shower with this bracelet or don't wet it since it will sag. The weight of the beads on cotton thread does the trick. Again, I guarantee your satisfaction as long as I know you took proper care of the piece.

Stay Happy!

My first Male customer

One of my male colleagues asked me to make a bracelet for her sister. I went ahead and made the piece for him and gave it last week. I just wish he'll remember to bring his pay soon.

Well, I am happy that my pieces are not only admired by the females but also the males~

silver/peridot wrist hugger

Off loom weaving is the technique I used to create this spiral beauty! I used a lot of 4mm Swarovski crystals, 11/0 delica beads, toggles with Swarovski crystals, power pro threads and lots of love. The length is approximately 7 1/2 inches. If you like the silver with some peridot playing around on it (or vice versa), this is a bracelet for you.

"Villa Novan" Bracelet

Sharon bought this bracelet last xmas for her future daughter-in-law. I call it villa novan bracelet since its color represents our school color! What a spirit! I love making this bracelet. I think the leaf toggle made the whole bracelet with a grapevine feel. She said that her ds' girlfriend like it a lot. :)

This is another version of the same bracelet pictured above. I made several of these for my other colleagues and dfs. I thank them all for making my little business going.

custom order

I am looking for some big jump ring for my friend's order. Iam not really sure where to pick them up! If you, by any chance, have any idea where to get one like these, please drop me a line or leave a comment.

I tried the local craft stores that I frequent but they don't carry links like these. I even went to the "big stores " and a bead show but to no avail.

I really hope I will be able to find one of these soon.

new slideshow

Please enjoy the new slideshow I made with photobucket. I did not realize how I accumulated so many pictures of my handmade jewelry! There you go! Now you will not really wonder if I have extra time in my hands or not.

I will also make a slideshow of my sold creations. I thought it would be nice to see and reminisce the joy of making something out of practically - nothing.

Have fun and enjoy the sight of my creations. If you are interested in any of the showcase (or any from the sold items), please feel free to contact me, or leave me a comment. As always, I like you to enjoy the jewelry I make or custom make for you as I did.

Have a great day! tfr

Pink/Purple bracelets

Here are some of the bracelets I made for my colleague, Lisa. I enjoyed stringing these drop beads using power pro. The dainty pink drop beads are just so girly, I can imagine the the little flower blooms in the spring. I also added some crystal AB glass drop beads to the bracelets and not to forget those freshwater pearls and other round beads to complement the pinks.

The purple bracelets are so similar as the pink bracelets except, of course, with it's color. I love playing with colors. I am sure she is going to love these! Now, I just have to make matching earring with the bracelets and I they will be off to go...

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lisa for patronizing my small business! You inspire me to keep beading...

Krista's Bracelet and Earrings Set

Below are photos of my weekend creations. This set is made for Krista, my colleague's dd. As always, I was so energized to make these pearls set because I know that someone's wrist is waiting for it. I used the glass pearls with sterling silver 24ga wire for its links and a SP heart toggles. It's just a joy to behold! I am glad that Krista inspired me to make this set in silver. As you may already know, I made bracelets like this with gold plated wire for its links last month as gifts. I did not realize that they look equally gorgeous in silver.

Woven Wire

awesome! This is my first attempt to making woven wire design. I've been so patient for this time to come... I finally had my hands on those practice wires and a clamp. I thought it would be too hard to do, but ~ whoala! I made it! I will be featuring some of those wire beauties later.

Wish me luck!

Chain Maille

Here's my take on the Japanese Flower Chain Maille. The possibilities are endless with these flower pattern! Several custom orders were already made for this beauty... It would be fun to make those items once my materials arrive.
I found this M.A.I.L website to be very helpful. They have tons of resources waiting for you!
Until my next chain maille post....

yesterday, today, and tomorrow

This is a yesterday, today, and tomorrow piece that I put together to remind me that I cannot dwell so much on yesterday since it's already gone. All I can do is reminisce the sweet memories I made and the people I shared it with. . . Today is where I have to focus all my energy...and the tomorrow is as grand as I want it to be.. hence the cascading crystal on this pretty little dangles. They are made of the finest ~ swarovski crystals and sterling silver. Enjoy!
I sold some of these already, they're a hit for stocking stuffers.

I am in the mood for glass pearls

I am making these "babies" for my holiday giveaways. I just want to extend my "thank you's" to people who help my little business running... and most of all for choosing my designs among others. From the bottom of my heart, I am so thankful!
I used gp wires for the links, 2 different glass pearl sizes (they're Japan-made), and assortment of different gp toggles. I know that whoever they find these bracelets to be worthy of using, will appreciate the work that goes with each of them.
Now, now, I have to stop here because I have to make at least twenty five of these....

tubular crochet ~ choker and earring set

Here's my take on the mauve/black diamond/crystal order that Lorraine made last month. I strung a pattern of different colors and kinds of seed beads. I use the miyukis since they look so uniform and perfect for this project. I also used the German made top stitching thread to crochet the beads together to make this elegant piece. I did not want to put all my hard work in vain so I used the sterling silver findings to finish off my set. I am looking forward to make my own findings in the near future...

This necklace will be a Christmas gift for her daughter. I hope that she will love this for I love creating this set of jewelry.

Etsy Mini

I did not really know what to do with my etsy shop right now. I was so excited when someone bought from me but then I got nothing after that. Maybe it's the present economy or maybe I have to adjust my prices. Anyway, I started browsing the site and found etsy mini where you can make widget of your creations to show off on your other personal website. Well, I'll try my luck using this service and see what happens after that. Here's what I've got from the etsy mini...

Wish me luck. tfr
